Heart Alive

Heart Alive is a cardiovascular screening and education program that is offered to businesses and organizations within Marion County. It is intended to help individuals reduce their risk of Cardiovascular Disease (CVD), such as coronary heart disease and stroke. Heart Alive provides an initial biometric screening for Total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, Hemoglobin A1C for diabetes, blood pressure and pulse, weight, height, and waist/hip measurements, with a series of classes on heart health, physical activity, and nutrition between, ending with a follow up 6 month biometric re-screening.
