Safe Sitter

The Safe Sitter Program is a nationally recognized training program for youth babysitting.  During the training, students ages 11 to 13 learn how to care for a choking infant or child, basic first aid, personal safety as a babysitter, injury prevention, how to care for children (feeding, diapering, etc), behavior management and more.  This program is offered at a low cost by the Social Work and HEPT departments.  For more information call 317.221.3145 or email swalton@marionhealth.org.
