The Foreign-born/Refugee Health program works in partnership with local resettlement agencies (Exodus and Catholic Charities), Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), FSSA, and healthcare providers to provide eligible clients with culturally and linguistically appropriate health screenings, assessments, and referrals. Our population includes refugees, secondary refugees, asylees, parolees, victims of human trafficking, and those seeking to become permanent U.S. residents.
Mission: To provide medical screening and care to all eligible clients thereby promoting disease prevention, meet client initial healthcare needs, and assist in the facilitation of establishing a long-term primary care home.
Vision: All eligible clients will have access to preventive and curative medical care that contributes significantly to their health and well-being as well as to the public health of their new communities.
