Covering Kids and Families: The 26th Annual Back to School Community Resource Day

Join us for our annual Back to School Community Resource Day, where you’ll find free backpacks, health services, food, and entertainment. This event welcomes children, families, and caregivers. We offer important services like dental and vision screenings and immunizations, all in one place.

For Marion County families, it’s a great chance to get ready for the new school year, both physically and mentally. Around 40 vendor booths will share helpful information and resources. Everything is free for families, and you don’t need to register—just show up and enjoy.

Here’s what you can look forward to at the event:

School Supplies. We’ll have clear backpacks filled with pens, pencils, paper, folders, and snacks.

Health Services. Get sports physicals, immunizations, and dental and vision screenings.

Family Resources. Find help with health insurance, free diapers, baby formula, and car seats. Parents can also get birth certificates, making this a one-stop support system for families.

Entertainment. Enjoy live music, games, haircuts, food, and fun. The Fire Safety Festival will also be there, with activities led by the fire department.
