What We Do
Marion County has excellent community coalitions supporting healthy communities. At the Chronic Disease program we provide leadership, fiscal and administrative support to help them succeed.
A few examples of these coalitions are:
Healthier Together (formerly Top 10)
The Healthier Together Coalition is working with partners across sectors to make healthier drink choices easier and more accessible in the places where people live, learn, work, and play. Sugary beverages are one of the leading sources of added sugar in our diets, contributing to chronic disease, tooth decay, and preventable health challenges across Marion County.
